Get to know KCCDC
One trusted place for the “why us”: our mission, our curriculum, and how we keep your child safe.

Every child is wonderfully made
Our mission is simple: to partner with families in raising children who feel deeply loved, by their teachers, by their friends, and by God. We believe children learn best when they feel safe, known, and free to play.
Guided by Isaiah 54:13, we treat every child as a person taught by the Lord, with a purpose and a future. That means celebrating each milestone, big or small, and nurturing kindness, curiosity, and confidence from the very first day.
- Christ-centered values woven gently into each day
- Whole-child focus: heart, mind, and body
- True partnership with parents, every step
Three promises to every family
Loved First
Before letters and numbers, children need to feel secure and cherished. Warm, consistent caregivers make that happen every day.
Learning Through Play
Play is a child’s work. Our days blend purposeful play with age-appropriate academics so learning feels like joy, not pressure.
Family Partnership
You know your child best. We communicate openly and often, so home and school always work as one team.

Purposeful play, every single day
Each classroom follows a weekly plan built around themes children love, like seasons, animals, community helpers, and Bible stories, with activities matched to each age group’s developmental goals.
- Early literacy, phonics & storytime
- Counting, shapes & problem solving
- Art, music & creative expression
- Outdoor play & motor skill development
- Bible stories, prayers & kindness practice
Our K4 classroom goes one step further with a play-based kindergarten-readiness program, so graduates walk into “big school” confident and prepared.
Your child’s safety is priority one
We take our responsibility seriously, with layers of protection that work quietly in the background of every happy day.
Secure Entry
Controlled-access doors with bullet-resistant glass in every exterior door and window. Only approved adults may enter or pick up your child.
Vetted Staff
Every teacher is background-checked and trained in child safety practices.
Secure Playgrounds
Fenced, limited-access play areas, so outdoor time is as protected as classroom time.
Practiced Drills
Fire, weather, and lockdown procedures rehearsed regularly with staff and children.
A full-time nurse on staff, every day
Few centers can say it: KCCDC has a full-time nurse on staff, handling medications, illness screening, and any bumps and bruises the day brings. Our teachers are CPR and first-aid trained too, so your child is in caring, capable hands from drop-off to pick-up.
“One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts.”— Psalm 145:4
